Work Location: Candidate are required to work at various locations as per company contracts.
Wage Rate: $34.70 Hourly, for 40 Hours per week

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Languages: English

Position is available and open to Students, Youth, Indigenous people and Newcomers to Canada.
Job Duties:
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
• Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Large workload, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Overtime required, Handling heavy loads.
Work Site Environment: At heights, Noisy, Dusty.

Additional Skills: Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites, supervise other workers, Estimate costs and materials.
