Job Title: Barber
Pay Rate: $34.07/hour

Job duties include:
• Suggest hairstyle compatible with client's physical features or determine style from client's instructions and preferences
• Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair
• Apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to color, frost, or streak hair
• Analyze hair and scalp condition and provide basic treatment or advice on hair care treatments for scalp and hair
• Provides scalp massages and treatments for issues like dryness or dandruff
• Clean and style wigs and hair pieces
• Apply hair extensions
• May perform receptionist duties and order supplies
• May train or supervise other barbers, barber apprentices, and helpers
• Maintain a friendly, professional atmosphere to ensure customer satisfaction
Additional Skills:
Book appointments, Maintain and order supplies
Experience:
A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a relevant field is required.
Education:
Completion of secondary education required. Completion of an apprenticeship program in a related field will be considered an asset
