Job Duties
As a Data Manager at Atlantic Shield, your responsibilities will include:
§ Develop and enforce data administration policies, standards, and procedures to safeguard sensitive client information and maintain compliance with insurance industry regulations.
§ Design, implement, and maintain databases tailored to managing client policies, claims, and premium records efficiently and securely.
§ Analyze policyholder and claims data to identify trends, assess risks, and provide actionable insights to support underwriting and pricing strategies.
§ Collaborate with marketing and customer service teams to develop data-driven strategies that enhance client acquisition, retention, and satisfaction.
§ Manage and maintain customer and operational data within database systems, ensuring consistency and synchronization across platforms such as CRM systems and marketing automation tools.
§ Manage and ensure the accuracy of customer data in CRM systems, aligning it with industry compliance standards and privacy regulations.
§ Conduct data integration projects to ensure seamless communication between underwriting software, claims management systems, and financial platforms.
§ Streamline reporting processes for regulatory compliance, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
§ Identify opportunities to optimize data management workflows, enhance system efficiency, and reduce operational costs.
Qualification and Skills
§ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Management, Statistics, or related field.
§ 3 to 5 years of proven experience in big data analysis, data warehouse creation, and management, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
§ Familiarity with data privacy and governance practices, particularly in the insurance industry, is a strong asset.
§ Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other programming languages for data manipulation and analysis.
§ Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and extract actionable insights.
§ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into actionable recommendations for senior management.
§ Demonstrated leadership abilities with a proactive and results-oriented approach to problem-solving.
