Job Summary:

Parts Panel is seeking a highly skilled Custom Fabrication Welder with extensive experience in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will have expertise in advanced welding techniques, such as Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) and Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), and a proven track record in custom fabrication for luxury and high-performance vehicles.

Duties and responsibilities may include some or all of the following:

? Performing precision welding and advanced fabrication using Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) and Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) techniques to restore damaged vehicle parts and panels.
? Inspecting completed work for accuracy, structural integrity and compliance with manufacturer specifications.
? Designing and fabricating custom components, body kits and accessories for high-end luxury SUVs, sports cars and exotic vehicles, ensuring exceptional craftsmanship.
? Modifying and repairing OEM parts for European, Asian, and American vehicles by interpreting blueprints, technical drawings and welding specifications.
? Preparing and welding materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum, optimizing equipment settings to achieve durable, high-quality results.
? Managing multiple custom projects from initial concept through installation, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining precision and quality.
? Collaborating with clients to develop bespoke solutions for unique models, including exotic, classic and off-road vehicles.
? Maintaining a clean, safe working environment and adhering to all safety protocols and industry standards.
? Ensuring accurate documentation of work performed throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

? Over 5 years experience in the automotive industry, specializing in custom fabrication, welding and working with new and used OEM and aftermarket parts.
? Expertise in advanced welding techniques, including Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) and Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), with proven ability to restore and fabricate vehicle components.
? Strong knowledge of OEM and aftermarket parts for European, Asian and American vehicles, with hands-on experience modifying and repurposing these components.
? Skilled in interpreting blueprints, technical drawings and parts diagrams to ensure precise fabrication and installation of automotive components.
? Proficient in handling and preparing materials such as aluminum, carbon steel, stainless steel and fiberglass for fabrication and repairs.
? Familiarity with inventory control systems, automotive parts cataloging and parts selection to support custom fabrication and repairs.
? Proven experience managing custom projects from design through completion, ensuring quality craftsmanship and timely delivery.
? Strong understanding of safety protocols and industry standards in welding, fabrication and auto parts handling.
? High School Diploma or equivalent.
