Terms of the Position:
- Terms: Permanent, Full Time Position
- Hours: 35-40 hours/week
- Wage: $47/hour
- Work Conditions:
o Managing multiple locations
o Mornings, days, evenings and weekends may be required
o Travel, including international travel to Bangladesh and other locations, may be required
Skills and Experience Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum Experience Requirements:
o Demonstrate at least six months or more of experience in a similar executive/senior managerial level position in the clothing industry
o Demonstrate experience and expertise of the textiles and clothing industry, including previous experience developing and implementing marketing strategies in the clothing and textile industries
o Demonstrate previous experience successfully starting up and establishing new business locations
o Demonstrate previous experience and knowledge in importing clothing and textiles
o Possess previous managerial experience

o Demonstrate the ability to effectively represent the business and conduct negotiations to benefit the business
o Demonstrate willingness and ability to travel internationally, when required, to develop and maintain business relationships with suppliers
Job Duties:
• Establish company objectives, policies and procedures for operations and marketing
• Develop and implement effective and creative marketing and promotional campaigns to drive sales
• Develop and maintain strong business relationships with suppliers and others in the textile and clothing/garments industries in Canada and abroad
• Manage staff and managers and direct the development of staff skills and training
• Allocate material, labour and financial resources so as to implement company policies and goals
• Develop and implement financial and administrative policies and controls to ensure business profitability and efficient operations
• Coordinate and manage the overall operations of company’s retail business locations to ensure business growth and success
• Develop personnel plans to ensure business is appropriately staffed
• Identify and open new retail locations, as business grows and expands
• Represent the company in all official negotiations and official functions
• Maintain significant knowledge of the textile/clothing industry in Canada and identify opportunities for expansion or growth of the company
