Administrative Support Services Manager

Angus Glen Montessori School has an immediate opening position for an experienced Administrative Support Services Manager.
Job Summary:
Location: 10000 Kennedy Rd, Markham, ON L6C 0M4 Ontario
Job Type: Permanent Full-Time (30 hr/week)
Compensation: $45.50/hr and 10 days paid vacation days per year and public holidays
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Lead, manage and train staffs responsible for securities, inventories, office and supplies, as well as other routine administrative services, to ensure our school’s daily administrative operation is smooth and under control;
• Responsible for proposing and reviewing relevant internal supportive and administrative policies, regulations and procedures;
• Administer and oversee the quality and quantity of services provided by supporting service staffs;
• Guide and supervise relevant staffs across all departments to effectively manage, store and use of company documents, files and records;
• Responsible for hiring, scheduling, training, guiding and evaluating the performance of supporting service staffs;
• Control, approve and supervise spending of supportive equipment, supplies and services based on annual budget plan;
• Collaborate with management team in planning of special internal events to improve company’s brand image and build higher level team morale;
• Direct and control corporate governance and regulatory compliance procedures within establishment.
Qualifications:
• A college diploma is required;
• 5+ years of working experience as administrative support service manager is required;
• English proficiency is required;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills;
• Ability to be inclusive and empathetic within a team environment;
• Creative self-starter, motivated by results and alert to change;
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships both internally and externally;
• Efficient time management and organizational skills;
• Problem solving skills with the ability to effectively execute solutions;
• Highly energetic and assertive with strong leadership skills;
• A pro-active attitude towards developing trust and professional rapport with employees and team members, other departmental managers.
