Duties:
• Sweep, mop, and wash floors
• Dust furniture and upholstered furniture in staff rooms
• Do camp laundry and distribute clean laundry to cabins
• Attend to campers’ requests for extra supplies
• Stock paper products in washrooms and manage cleaning supplies/supply areas
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and surfaces
• Clean and disinfect public areas such as washrooms and showers
• Pickup debris and empty trash containers
• Wash windows, walls, and ceilings
• Report and store lost and found items
Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is required
• 2 - 3+ months cleaning experience is required
• Experience working at a children’s summer camp is strongly preferred
• Strong organizational skills
• Successful completion of a criminal background check
• Good character, integrity, adaptability, enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience, and self-control
