Description: The position supports Store Management by contributing to the successful operations of the Retail Store and Gas Station while following protocol as of a Petro-Canada branded dealer. Key objective of the position is to provide customer satisfaction at all times.
Job duties are as follows but not limited to:
• Supervise and co-ordinate duties and tasks of staff
• Assign duties to staff and adjust to meet operational needs
• Address and resolve issues related to employee behavior, attendance, or performance
• Sell merchandise to customers and authorize returns of merchandise
• Resolve customer complaints in a speedy and effective manner
• Maintain specified inventory and order merchandise as per Managements requirement
• Manage pricing for all new inventory and communicate price changes to staff
• Liaise with management to implement promotional activities and special offers
• Oversee cleanliness and organization of the store, ensuring adherence to company standards
• Maintain detailed records of sales, expenses, and staff performance for management review
• Train new staff as needed
• Operate point of sale system and manage cash flow as needed
• Manage car wash
• Performing the necessary tasks as the employee of a Petro-Canada branded dealer
• Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
• Secondary school education
• Minimum 7 months - 1 year previous work experience in retail sales or customer service at supervisor or managerial level
Additional Qualifications:
Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet operational needs, including morning, afternoon, graveyard and evening shifts. Please note our Gas Station operates 24/7, 7 days a week.
