Position: Supermarket Department Supervisor
Salary: $20 to $24/Hour
Work Hour Per Week: 35 Hours

Living Delight has operated in Brandon for more than ten years, offering supermarket services to meet the daily needs of local people. We mainly provide a variety of Asian goods and other hometown flavours from Latin America, America, and the Middle East.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Supermarket Department Supervisor to join our team.
Job Descriptions:
1. Direct and oversee sales department daily activities.
2. Assign weekly responsibilities to the department staff and prepare their work schedule.
3. Authorize payments and product returns.
4. Review and analyze quotations and negotiate prices with suppliers.
5. Estimate budgets for purchasing, record inventory, place orders, and ensure timely delivery.
6. Ensure every product is displayed aesthetically and well-organized at the store.
7. Address any potential problems, such as customer demands, complaints, and shortages of supplies, promptly.
8. Build and maintain a professional relationship with existing and new suppliers and vendors.
9. Evaluate department staff’s performance each quarter.
10. May hire and train new employees whenever necessary.
11. Perform other tasks that are assigned.
Qualification:
1. A college diploma is required; a bachelor’s degree is an asset.
2. Three to five years of experience in the sales or supply chain industry is required. A minimum of two years of experience in personal management is also required.
3. Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership.
4. Demonstrated analytical skills and strong problem-solving ability.
5. Proficiency in computer skills, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
6. Team player & work under pressure & creativity.
