Job Title: Information Technology (IT) Analyst
Term: Permanent, Full time
Work hours: 35 hours
Location: Dartmouth, Nova Scotia
Salary: $28-$33/hour
Key Responsibilities:
Website/Application System Design and Implementation:
• Design, develop, test, implement, and oversee Website/Application product infrastructure to meet organizational needs.
• Review existing Website/Application product systems and internal processes to identify areas for improvement
• Facilitate User Training
Data Analysis:
• Collect and analyse data to identify areas for improvement within Website/Application product infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain reports to support decision-making.
Policy Development
• Develop, implement, and apply policies to maximize performance of software products and information systems
• Ensure all systems and processes align with governance structure whilst meeting customized local demands
Quality Assurance:
• Project management and quality control of software and IT project
Maintenance and Support:
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on Website/Application product and information systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide technical guidance and support for system operation
Security and Compliance:
• Implement and monitor Website/Application product security policy to ensure data security and compliance with company policies
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering, business administration, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in similar role
- Professional certifications may be required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal ability
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of IT security measures and compliance standards.
