Job responsibilities include:
-Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
-Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
-Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
-Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
-Post journal entries
-Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports Prepare tax returns
-Prepare trial balance of books
-Reconcile accounts
-Prepare estimates and invoice customers
-Perform duties using Sage 50, Mitchell Connect, and Mitchell RepairCentre softwares
Education requirement:
College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience requirement:
1 month to less than 7 months. At least two years of experience as a bookkeeper is considered a major asset.
Skills requirements:
Proficiency with Sage 50 accounting software is required. Proficiency with repair centre softwares Mitchell Connect and Mitchell RepairCentre is also required.
