Location: This position is based out of our home office at 3756 Pakka Rd, Sorrento, British Columbia but requires constant travel to remote areas throughout Western Canada, BC, AB and SK, to work on remote job sites.
Compensation: $105,000 yearly plus $0.75 per acre when spraying
Hours: 30-40 per week
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Helicopter Line Pilot to join our dynamic team. This position involves operating in remote environments and moving between job sites as needed. Work includes aerial crop spraying, helicopter logging, forest firefighting, and drill moves. Accommodation is provided at remote job sites.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct aerial crop spraying operations with precision and efficiency
• Perform helicopter logging and drill moves in challenging terrain
• Support wildfire suppression efforts as needed
• Ensure safe and efficient flight operations in remote locations
• Work closely with ground crews and adhere to industry best practices
• Conduct pre-flight inspections of aircraft to ensure weight and balance specifications are met
• Coordinate flight activities with ground crew, flight teams, and operations support
• Monitor functioning of helicopters and systems throughout the flight and maintain communications with dispatchers
• Prepare accurate flight logs and other required reports
Requirements:
• 2,000+ hours total flight time
• 1,000+ hours of helicopter spray experience
• 500+ hours of AS350 flight experience
• Ability to live and work in remote locations for extended periods
• Strong decision-making skills and the ability to adapt to changing conditions
• Valid Canadian pilot license
