As our resort continues to grow and attract visitors year-round, we are seeking a dedicated and organized Administrative Assistant to support our operations and help ensure the smooth running of our resort’s daily activities.
Position description:
Title: Administrative Assistant
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hour per week: 30 hours
Hourly Salary: CAD$ 17.00
Annual Salary: CAD$ 26,520
Work Location: 36743 Cabot Trail, Ingonish, Nova Scotia B0C 1K0
Key responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to resort management and staff, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Coordinate with correspondence, emails, and phone calls, responding to inquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Organize and maintain files, records, and resort documents both physically and digitally.
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating meetings, events, and appointments.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and internal communications as required.
- Support guest services by greeting visitors, handling reservations, inquiries, and special requests when needed.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers, handling invoices and payments.
- Perform general office duties, including ordering supplies and maintaining office organization.
- Assist in basic bookkeeping and financial record-keeping.
Basic qualifications:
- College Diploma.
- Related administrative experience is considered as an asset.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and a passion for the hospitality and tourism industry.
