Job Duties
• Check formwork and granular base that hold the concrete to see that they are properly constructed
• Level the forms that hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth, and align them
• Water proofing, damp-proofing and restoring concrete surface
• Mold expansion joints and edges, using edging tools, jointers, and straightedge
• Operating a power vibrator to compress concrete
• Installing anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete and/or pattern or stamp the surface to provide a decorative finish
Additional Requirements
• No formal education required
• Some previous experience is an asset, On the job training will be provided
• Language requirement- English
