We are looking for a Janitor to join our team to help us keep the best possible work environment.
Duties:
•Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs.
•Empty trash cans and other waste containers.
•Clean and disinfect washrooms and fixtures.
•Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings.
•Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse.
•Utilize various cleaning techniques and operate cleaning machinery with a focus on safety and maintenance.
•Carefully work around specialized equipment to ensure no disruption to manufacturing processes and maintain the integrity of sensitive machinery.
•Report back to the office manager if supplies are low.
•Move heavy furniture and/or supplies as needed.
•Maintain cleanliness and organization in high-traffic areas, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
Requirements:
•Completion of secondary school.
•Grade 12 English communication skills.
•Proven track record in maintaining cleanliness and organization in high-traffic facilities.
•Experience in using cleaning chemicals safely and effectively.
•Ability to handle and work around specialized equipment with care and precision.
•Strong work ethic and time management.
•Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.
