JOB DUTIES:
Develop and implement marketing and advertising strategies to drive market penetration, student engagement, and increased participation/sales across Dalhousie University.
Execute promotional campaigns, including national brand partnerships, proprietary programming, and special client events tailored to the university setting.
Assess the effectiveness of marketing and advertising initiatives, conducting post-campaign analysis and reporting key metrics for continuous improvement.
Work collaboratively with the Senior Marketing Manager to ensure engagement activities align with business objectives and student satisfaction goals.
Conduct regular audits of dining locations, ensuring compliance with pricing strategies, menu boards, branding standards, and customer service excellence.
Develop and manage social media content for various platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) to enhance brand visibility and engagement with the university community.
Monitor and respond to customer reviews and testimonials to strengthen online reputation and foster positive relationships.
Create compelling digital content, including email newsletters, blog posts, online advertisements, and video marketing, tailored for Dalhousie’s student and faculty audience.
Optimize website content, ensuring accessibility, relevance, and alignment with marketing campaigns and sustainability initiatives.
Plan and coordinate special events, workshops, and promotional activities to engage students, faculty, and external stakeholders within the Dalhousie community.
Develop and execute public relations strategies, including press releases, media relations, and campus-wide communications to promote key initiatives.
Serve as a liaison between the marketing team and university stakeholders, maintaining strong client relations and ensuring brand consistency across all platforms.
Prerequisites:
Education: Secondary School or equivalent experience
Experience & Skills: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
Language: English
Hourly Rate: $31.25 to $ 37.00 per hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Full-time and permanent
