We are looking for a well experienced Catering Service Manager for The Food Dudes Inc. located at 24 Carlaw Ave Toronto, ON M4M 2R7, Canada, as well as at various other locations in the region.

JOB DUTIES:
Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of catering operations with a emphasis on off-site events, pop-up activations, and premium corporate food delivery services.
Oversee client inquiries, proposals, and service agreements, ensuring seamless execution from planning through to post-event follow-up.
Supervise kitchen and prep staff in the preparation of gourmet meals and catering items, ensuring all dishes are executed according to recipe standards, flavor profiles, and presentation expectations.
Participate in hands-on food preparation and final plating during high-volume or VIP events, assisting with portioning, garnishing, and quality assurance.
Lead on-site catering teams during events, directing event setup, buffet or plated service execution, and breakdown, while ensuring exceptional guest service and operational flow.
Ensure all food items maintain optimal temperature, texture, and visual appeal during packaging, transportation, and off-site service—upholding The Food Dudes’ premium brand standards.
Maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, venue managers, and corporate clients to streamline operations and strengthen brand partnerships.
Monitor and manage inventory of catering-specific supplies, kitchen tools, transport containers, packaging materials, and mobile cooking equipment.
Enforce food safety and sanitation protocols, with particular focus on safe handling, transport, and service in non-traditional or outdoor environments.
Manage event budgets, implement cost controls, and track performance metrics to ensure profitability without compromising on food quality or service standards.
Collaborate with culinary leads on seasonal or event-specific menu design, providing operational input on feasibility, prep logistics, and service methods.
Address client feedback constructively and lead post-event evaluations to identify areas for service and product improvement.
