Responsibilities
Tasks
• Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted
• Thoroughly read instructions and blueprints to determine the specifications and
quantities of the work to be completed and materials required.
• Repair cracks and holes
• Mix paint to desired colour and texture
• Measure, cut and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls
• Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging
• Apply paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
• Cover floors, furniture, and other surfaces with protective materials before painting
• Work closely with site managers and other trades to ensure project timelines are met
• Complete other tasks as assigned
