Job Description
• Read circuit diagrams, blueprints, and electrical codes to assess wiring structures for all the installations.
• Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, wires, and fixtures, including switches and circuit breakers.
• Connect wires and pull them through holes in surfaces and walls.
• Install holders and hangers to hold up electrical appliances
• Connecting power to electrical equipment, heating, and cooling devices, and signaling devices
• Test electrical systems and components to ensure the proper functioning
• Fix electrical issues and adjust and replace the damaged electrical components using appropriate testing devices
• Connect wires to units and fixtures to create circuits.
• Inspect circuit breakers and ensure continuous maintenance of electrical equipment to ensure safety.
• Performing general electrical maintenance and keeping proper maintenance records.
• Providing service to different electrical equipments such as heaters, air conditioners, audio and video systems etc.
Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Post-secondary education and/or a minimum one year of experience in the field is required
