Mr. and Mrs. Burtney are looking for a Home Care Child Care Provider who will be responsible for providing childcare and supervision to their 3 children. The following are the job requirements and specifications:
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Work setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment
Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. Follow parents’ lead with toilet training.
2. Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents.
3. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
4. Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
5. Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens.
6. Bathe, dress and feed children.
7. Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
8. Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
9. Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children.
10. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
11. Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
12. Prepare children for rest periods.
13. Supervise and care for children.
14. Take children to and from school and to appointments.
15. Tend to emotional well-being of children.
15. Help children with homework.
